Jakob Kramer

I am a researcher and PhD Student within the StressRes Project (https://www.drought.uni-freiburg.de/stressres), that aims at creating a monitoring and modeling system to evaluate stress on groundwater and drinking water in Germany. My work emphasizes analyzing groundwater governance through a critical institutionalist and environmental justice framework, focusing on the equitable distribution of groundwater and its governance amidst evolving usage patterns.

Previously, I contributed to the UrbanArenas Project (https://urban-arena.eu/), focusing on the question how cities can become more sustainable and just, while completing my Master's degree in Geography at the University of Freiburg.
