Tanya Baycheva-Merger is a Research Associate at the Forest and Environmental Policy Group at Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg (Germany). Her research centers upon forest information exchange, integrated management of forests and water, and illegal use of water resources.  

Current Projects:

  • Integriertes Management von Wald und Wasser unter sich ändernden klimatischen Bedingungen: Risiken, Maßnahmen, Übertragbarkeit (InteW2)
  • Potenzialabschätzung Industrie 4.0 in der Forst-Holz-Bereitstellungskette– Smart Wood Supply Chain Management (WOOD SUPPLY 4.0)
  • Distributed, integrated and harmonized forest information for bioeconomy outlooks (DIABOLO)
