Research interest
My research is problem oriented and applied as well as theory driven. It comprises following areas linking research on ideas, interests and institutions:
- Policy studies in the area of land use, in particular on forest, agriculture, climate and nature conservation
- Interlinkages between land use policies at different political levels
- Policy integration
- Political communication in forest and environmental policy
- Democracy, participation and discourses
- Sustainability research, e.g. on bioeocnomy
