Dr. Špela Pezdevšek Malovrh

Dr. Špela Pezdevšek Malovrh is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Forestry and Renewable Forest Resources. During her PhD she was involved in several projects in the field of private forest management and forest policy. In her PhD thesis she studied the influence of institutions and forms of cooperation on private forest management in Slovenia. Within FOPER project (European Forest Institute) she established intensive cooperation with several forest research institutions in the Western Balkans serving as forest policy and economics resource person in research projects dealing with private forestry, forest governance, urban forestry, non timber forest products, management of protected areas and hunting.
